Kudos to PPANJ Photographer JIm LaSala

Being selected for the PPA Loan Collection is a grand achievement and reserved for an elite group of photographers.

Master Photographer Jim LaSala of Flemington and co-owner of ArtisticEfex in Hillsborough image was selected for the front cover of September 2011 Professional Photographer Magazine. LaSala captured “Hope and Desire,” A PPA 2011 Loan Collection image, in Port Au Prince on a trip to Haiti with a relief organization. In the acres of tents sheltering people who lost their homes in the earthquake of 2010, there were children laughing, crying, playing and surviving. LaSala reports, “We can no longer hide behind a piece of equipment and separate ourselves from the world.”

ArtisticEfex will be sponsoring a special gallery show “A Story of Hope…Spoken Through Their Eyes” which will share Jim’s images of his personal experience of his trips to Haiti.
