Topic-"The Classic Nude"

Known for her intimate portraits and still life, Ellen Denuto's unique imagery begins with the beauty of available light. The creative process is guided by the element of the unknown. Traditional black and white photography, alternative applications and the latest digital technology are used to capture that magic moment in time and create the final image.
Keynote Presentation and narrative on The Classic Nude and The Intimate Portrait Workshops, which introduces participants to my work history and background accompanied by examples of intimate portraits that I have created for commercial clients, stock and fine art exhibition throughout my career.
The presentation illustrates the progression of how my earliest photographs evolved from personal portfolio pieces to stock images, commissions, and commercial jobs.
Topics such as light, color, form and gesture- body types, props, make-up, expression all combine to make or break the final image. Questions and discussion on the concept and creation of personal vision will be covered.
