"This exhibition features three giants of photography—Alfred Stieglitz(American, 1864–1946), Edward Steichen (American, b. Luxembourg, 1879–1973), and Paul Strand (American, 1890–1976)—whose works are among the Metropolitan's greatest photographic treasures. The diverse and groundbreaking work of these artists will be revealed through a presentation of approximately 115 photographs, drawn entirely from the collection."

Time to go through your images and select several (at least) for our photo competition review at Unique University on the evening of December 17, 2010.
Get inspired!!! How??? View wonderful images on the PPANJ web site and study them closely. What makes them award-winning photographs?
Or close to home, visit the Zimmereli museum on the campus of Rutgers and enjoy some master photography throughout this small but fine museum--so close to home!!

NorthStar Wedding Boot Camp Great Success..
Close to 100 attendees enjoyed a great day of learning, comraderie, shooting and good food, too with PPANJ "Stars"- Mike Travisano, Gary Bilbao, Jim Rosselli, Mario Comejo and Jim LaSala at the beautiful Solar DoMinho in Roselle Park.
The day started with marketing and customer service ideas, followed by Mike and Mario's bridal shoot from getting ready through the ceremony and champagne by the limo. The afternoon was filled with Lightroom and Photoshop learning. The culmination of the day was a moving video by Jim LaSala taken during a recent mission to Haiti.
Photography makes wedding days memorable and can even change the world!
And...best of all...we had a number of people sign up as new members!!
